Hello ( to whom it may concern)
I'm using POV to make a small film. Each frame is rendered and what I'm
trying to do is get DTA to add each frame to the flc automatically. The idea
is to make large resolution flc's without using G bytes of disk space.
I have also been trying to use the zip option with little success as the
help doc's don't say how to use this option.
I run two small networks of computers at work, these machines have
standard CPU's but small HDD's if I can get this to work the idea is to have
each machine render a small amount of the film adding each frame at a time
to the flc. Since at work they would not notice if the machine was running a
task like POV. All I knead to do then is to collect the results from the
network "automatically" and then concatenate the flc's.
If this works I should be able to make long films at high resolution
with little or no cost to me. This is a personal project and I make no money
from it.
If it works...
a) totally brill.
b) I might just even register DTA as it will do everything I want.
Any "clean" & " sensible" suggestions please e-mail me.
Thanks
P.S. running 98 se & pov 3.1g
