Could some programmer here perhaps make one? Even if it's just a simple DOS
utility (using Allegro?). I think I speak for everyone that adding more
types than just bezier would be a great idea. Thanks in advance.

I hacked a version of a Java program by Michael Heinrichs
(hei### [at] cssfuca) to provide input to the Colefax spline
routines. It worked for me, your mileage may vary.
Look at http://www.glue.umd.edu/~tvp/interp.html to see the
general idea (this one is not mine but it is based on the same
source). I have a couple of extra buttons and mine prints the
control point coordinates. Let me know if you want my code.

It looks great. Gimme yours. If you could add a grid to it and make the
points (optionally) snap to the grid, that would be a welcome addition. Have
you added other spline types into your version?

I certainly don't have the brains to add new spline types,
but I will post my version just the same. I use a one-pixel
grid and get snapping by default :-) My version also loads
a background image (your choice) to assist in drawing.
I think I created a modified version of the Colefax spline
file to go along with this... just re-numbered the points or
something like that. You should be able to map one to the
other or hack my source to display the information for use
with the standard spline file.
I will post to binaries.scene-files in about 5 minutes.
