Hello,

has anybody experience with composing POV-TGA files and a WAV sound file
to a AVI file? Is there are a free- or sharewaretool available?

A tool which can only compose a AVI file with a WAV file would be also
great. In this case I would use DTA 3.0 to create the AVI animation file
and tool XXX for composing the the WAV in the AVI file.

If possible, the tool should also have the possibility to adjust the
sound on specific frames (means the sound file should be inserted in the
AVI file starting from frame e.g. 6 or another specific frame number).

I want to use this tool to create and play with small music videos.

For any tips thanks in advance.
-Stefan

Hi,

Yes, I can help you do what you desire, and it won't cost you a thing. First, use
Fast
Movie Processor ( www.gromada.com free for non-commercial use ) to build an avi from
tga's, bmp's, whatever, using your desired codec. Then use DDCLIP ( www.winfiles.com
freeware ) to add audio files to the video. From what I have seen, you *can* adjust
the
audio on a frame by frame basis.

Hi Andy,

thanks a lot for the good tip!

I downloaded the Fast Movie Processor and the freeware version of
DDCLIP. This software is exactly what I'm looking for.

I tested Adobe Premiere before. I's very good program but expensive and
a little bit "oversized" for just putting a WAV and a AVI file together
(this is like flying with the airplane to the next super market and
buying a sixpac ;-))

The pictures on your webpage looks very interesting. How do you create
the Poser figure from the picture Media3.html?

Bye
Stefan

You're welcome.

Well, the figure was exported from Metacreations Poser1 as a DXF. I then imported it
into
Impulse's Imagine, where I applied the explode stage f/x. I then converted the DXF to
a
POV INC file using 3dWIN.
