I have only recently used Moray and have found it uses a right handed
co-ordinate system, is there any way to switch to the left handed system.
Thanks Pete.

The simple answer is no. But don't worry after a short while it becomes easy to
switch between the two co-ordinate systems. Easier than switching between
imperial and metric measurements.

I have always wondered why the author has this odd principle of not wanting
to add an option to switch coordinate systems.
This feature request has been presented for at least 5 years.

Only Lutz can answer this one. I guess it is the old Engineering Vs Science
thing. I'm happy with it as I is/was an enjineer :-}

It doesn't bother me as long as I'm creating something strictly with Moray,
but if I'm creating something with Povray and using objects created with
Moray, it can get very complicated and confusing trying to get things
pointed in the right direction.

Joking aside, that is true. It must be confusing to people starting out. I tend
to design/layout in Moray then convert anything I do in Povray to Moray's
coordinate system. Probably because I use the Moray cameras with
up < 0.0, 0.0, 1.0> // Where Z is up
right < 1.38192, 0.0, 0.0> // Right Vector is adjusted to
...
statement.
Remember it is not a bug but a feature :-}
BTW what is happening to the Moray tribute scene. Has Stefan gone in search of
Beagle_2 :-}

photographs of Mars.... ;-0

Yes!! And know what? I suspect that the 'photographs' were made with
Moray!!! But don't tell NASA!
