Much better than my feeble attempt.
Would it be possible to optionally add a header to the output.
Something like
// InsertCode003
or what ever the Objects name is.
When I'm debugging my scenes it would be nice to tell where everything is
coming from.

What a good idea. A text or help file, explaining its usage would be a useful
addition. Your plugin looks like an upgrade to the "File to write to every
exported Pov-Ray file:
Now to find something to use it with :-}
Tested OK with RC1 using a Skysphere. That alone is worth your work.
