Hi to all,
is it possible to create a Lens flare (using the Lens flare Plugin) BEHIND
an object.
Everytime the Lens flare is in front of all Object.
Thanx Grosch

Could you create a phantom object behind the rest of your objects ?
Something that won't be visible in the scene like a sphere with a scale of
0.0001 to help position the flare.

I was wondering about the same thing, including Glows! Both flares and glows
appear in front (or through as it were) of the objects. In a static case
this does not much matter as you can enable or disable them, and in fact if
they should be invisible why use them in the first place? but in the case of
an animation I can imagine that this complicates things.

If I remeber right, the lens-flare-pov-macro (which is used by the
lens-flare-plugin) has the possibility to create objects (sphere or any
polygon) which are IN FRONT OF the lens-flare. Also it's possible to
select an object (only polygons, i think) that mirrors the lens-flare.
While the moray plugin supports to select a camera and a light-source, I
wonder why it is not possible to select an (or more) object(s) that
hide(s) the lens-flare. Maybe the moray plugin isn't perfect for now and
will be upgraded soon...?

The LensFX plugin allows you to put flares behind objects. The one that
comes with Moray does not.
Go here for LensFX:

Hi All.
I believe the link you are searching for is this:
http://www.geocities.com/apaglione/plugins/LensFX.zip
And a little advice: One of the best sites in internet to search for
plugins, utilities, updates, objects and so on about Moray is this:
http://www.stmuc.com/moray
:-)

I forgot to mention:
If you want to see an example of the result of this plugin in an actual
scene, standing the flare behind an object you can take a look at this one:

Now i have downloadet the LensFX Plugin. Put the include files into the
povray 'include' folder and the dll into the Moray 'plugin' folder.
I created a Lens flare but i see nothing of the flare after rendering the
picture.
what can i do ? (I have Moray 3.3)

Perhaps send the .mdl file to moray.binaries so we could take a look?
