Francois Dispot's new opensource Arabeske pattern editor 1.1.3 is out.
New features are  background image loading (and zooming  etc.) besides
normal ease-of-use improvements.

An updated manual can be expected shortly, says the author. nb: most
changes are self-explanatory; not mentioned is that shift-click allows
