Have a converted 3ds file.
Turned off the following two menu items in POV-Ray:
Editor|Auto-Load Error File
Editor|Auto-Show Parse Messages
Have the directory of the udo and inc files in the ini file.
Have script I/O set to no restrictions.
WHY THE EFF IS IT SAYING IT CAN'T LOAD THE DAMN THINGS?

I have had similar problems. The way I solved them was putting the .inc
files in Moray's Povscn directory.
Hope this helps

Still doesn't work...ah, I see, the *_p.inc file is referencing a
*_o.inc file which DOESN'T EXIST. Sloppy coding if ya ask me...if
I tell 3dwin not to export the materials, it should at least generate
a dummy *_o.inc file so pov doesn't 'shit a brick', as it were.

Hmm, it did export the materials...so what the heck is the *_o.inc file
for, and why doesn't 3dwin generate it?

Hmm, after checking every option box in 3dwin, I finally get the *_o.inc
file which is a buttload of vertices...why didn't it generate it before?
All I wanted was the mesh and its textures, had those options checked,
as well as global settings, but it didn't make the *_o.inc file...

Didn't he just say that he has it set to no restrictions?

Indeedy I did. BTW, something strange about PoseRay 2.something
...it creates a material called 'default' which wreaks havoc with
POV, since POV doesn't like "#define default=material..."
That and the (unrelated) fact that media's a pain in the hindquarters
to get to do what you want it to...
