I wanna resize the object tree on the right so I don't have to keep
scrolling back and forth after a few layers of CSGing.  Corrolary
to this: resizing the view frames.

better yet, how about viewport layouts ala 3d studio

I thought the viewport layout WAS a la 3d studio.  From what I've

3d studio has a selection of viewport layouts, such as screen split
vertically 50/50 with 3 views in left half, and one in right

also allows you to position any view port in any of the sections

AutoCAD did it before 3DS.
