Yes.
Or were you after more info than that?
Press Ctrl-F9, and the corresponding .pov and .inc files will be exported
into your standard location (usually /moray for windows/povscn)

It's not only possible, that's the way moray communicates with povray.
Every file you render, you can find a pov-file in the povscn subfolder.
If you want to export a file without rendering it, press ctrl-f9. Then
you can find it in the povscn folder as well (if i recall right)

Yes, that's correct. The full path (assuming you're using the default
setup) is:
C:\Program Files\Moray For Windows\PovScn\[filename].pov
There is also an .INC file in the same directory with all your texture
information.

can you not just do a numerical conversion at the point of export?

That's all I have to say...
unless you took out the part that says to make right handed, and then put a
union around it and rotated or something like that
