Hi,  I've just downloaded Moray & Povray and have tried to create a
simple cube to render.
      Having drawn a wireframe cube, I am trying to assign a Material,
but the "Assign Materials" Dialog Box is completely empty.

      This must be a simple problem,  but then - I'm a simple man...

  Perhaps because you haven't made any material yet?

  There's a button there which opens the material editor.

right.  it's the other one with colored spheres.  the help file has a
tutorial in it about this subject so try it out.  you'll be on your way
in no time.
