Is it possible to implement a UDO Wireframe Export from Moray that uses
the onscreen wireframe model?

Perhaps the export utility could allow the user to select an existing
INC file - or - export the current Moray scene as the INC file to be
associated with the UDO wireframe. Also, it would be nice to be able to
set the level of detail for the UDO file.

UDO wireframes can be tedious & time consuming to hand code. This
feature would greatly enhance the ease & speed of UDO file creation.

Is this something that could be built into Moray directly, or would this
be better suited to a plugin. If a plugin is a more suitable & feasible
option, which of those wonderful & talented plugin artists might be
willing to tackle it?

Hi Tony Vigil, you recently wrote in moray.win:

Not currently. It would be possible in the next version, but as to
whether it will be done.... that's another question. This is ideally
suited to a plugin for the next version, though.

If you mean for imported UDOs, this is already possible. Each UDO
object has it's own setting for detail (1-100%). If its individual
setting is not set, then it uses the global detail setting
(Scene|Settings|Global Settings).
Or did I misunderstand?

Agreed.

I was refering to the exported UDO file. Being able to control the number of
vertices & edges for the exported file would be a nice touch.
