Hello, All,
Does anyone know of a (or possibly multiple) converter which would allow
for importation into Moray of any of the following: Parasolid files
(.x_t), Parasolid Binary files (.x_b), IGES files (.igs), STEP AP203
(.step), ACIS (.sat), STL (.stl), VDAFS (.vda), or VRML (.wrl)? I use a
high-end CAD package that can export any of these formats, but not 3D
.DXF files.

sure. Try crossroads. It'll do wrl to DXF or 3DS, which are a synch to
convert via 3D Win(comes with Moray)

Thanks, Alex. Any ideas where I can download Crossroads?

Alex (& Ken):
Thanks for the information. Crossroads works great. While it's a little
tedious to convert parts twice (.wrl to .dxf, .dxf to .udo), it's certainly
better that not at all.

Personally, I'd suggest converting to 3DS- 3DWin handles it MUCH faster.

After reviewing the file formats that you can export to I noticed that
you can export to .stl format. You might want to take stl2pov.exe out
for a spin to see if it will do what you need in a one step conversion
process - http://www.killozap.de/html/epovsource.html
