Hi,

just evaluating Moray 3.1 for Windows, and man, this is great.
But I have one question, perhaps I overlooked a possibility.

I would like to enter the points of a prism (lathe, sor,
whatever) with coordinates, i.e. "put this point at x=x and
y=y), I haven't found a possibility. Even grid snapping
does not work in "edit" mode.

BTW. IK ist great!

Markus

Yes, this is currently not possible. But the next release, due very
soon, will allow you to enter them manually.

Yes, true. You can snap selected nodes with the Snap button, though.

Overall, my thoughts about moray are: The integration with POV-Ray
and its possibilities is great, but there's a lot of work to do.
Especially in the area that I mentioned. How close do you keep to
the development of POV-Ray (which seems to accelerate at the moment)?

Markus

Feel free to let me know where you want things developed. Suggestions
from users do have an influence on what we develop.

Very.

Which order of magnitude?: 1 week, 1 month, 6 month or 1 year.
(I know it is rather secret but...)

Thanks,

Fabian.

Somewhere in-between there. We will release a public beta within a
week or two. The release will follow when any major bugs have been
flushed.
