I just noticed, visiting www.povray.org, that the "Moray Now!" button is
gone.

Has something happened?

With your comment in mind, I just visited the PovRay site - you're correct,
seems that there's no reference whatsoever to Moray anywhere, let alone the
"Moray Now" button. Hope things are O.K.

Immediately after you posted your findings I checked it out too only to
confirm what you had said. I waited for a few days expecting some reaction
to this from the group but nothing so far.

Anyone out there willing/able to comment on this? Was the Moray Now! button
removed by accident during an upgrade of the site? I sincerely hope there is
a simple answer to all this.

Likewise, I'm waiting for some comment from someone who knows... at least
this 'moray.win' newsgroup in still on the server. Lutz, Chris,... anyone?

Hi Simon de Vet, you recently wrote in moray.win:

No, not really. The POV-Team doesn't want to place unpaid advertising
there except for freeware programs. The original appearance of the
Moray Now! button there was a one-time arrangment I had with the
POV-Team that was limited to a certain period of time after the V3.1
release.

I am glad it is just that!

Well, now we know how to get the button back to www.povray.org. Make Moray
freeware ;-)

Lutz,

Glad to hear this... now we can get back to the regularly scheduled
"moray.win" newsgroup. As a registered user, I, for one, have no problem
with the shareware status of Moray. Appreciate the info.
