Finally, I figured out how to make IK models. It's easy with rotation,
horizontal translation and vertical translation (because you have to
freeze 2 axis and let only one under IK). But I can't figure out how to
make diagonal translations. And by the way, what is the purpose of the
"Dampen" field?

You can't, really. If you leave two translational axes unfrozen, that
object can move in a square. To allow diagonal movement, I suggest
maybe aligning the local coordinates to the direction and then
unfreezing that one axis.

When Moray attempts to slove an IK chain (i.e. move the hierarchy such
that the object you're moving is position at the mouse cursor) it
moves each segment by a maximum amount that is determined by the
Dampen field. This allows you to make Moray prefer one node ove
another when solving the chain. The Robot uses this so that
translating the lower are is preferred over translating the upper arm.
