I'm not one to ask many questions, BUT i can not figure out how to scale a
media so as not to show the container object in Moray. Any help out there?

yep.. add a transformation to the media statement. I find doubling the
container size, and halfing the media works like a dandy...

Another way to make the container disappear would be to use a spherical density
pattern, and make the outermost entries transparent(black)...yup, just like
halos.
