I love this flare feature, and am sure I'll use it extensively.
However, I have a question.. it comes with predefined flares, but is
there any way to define your own? I have a little red light in my scene,
and I'd love to have a little twinkle on it, but all the predefined
twinkles are white, and look odd in this context....

I think you could create your own by writing your own .flr file (see the
[moray directory]/povscn/nkflare directory). I haven't had a look at the
help files that come with NKFlare, so I'm not sure. To change your flare
colours, you could try "hand-editing" your flare definition in the pov scene
created by Moray (probably in your povscn directory) and add
"flare_brightness <1, 0, 0>" to produce a red glow, for example.
Hope that helps,
Matt
