It seems that Moray always applies textures to objects before scaling
the object. This sometimes makes for a lot of tweaking later on. Is
there a way to reverse this, so that the object is scaled before the
texture is applied?

In the "Modify" options for the object, in the "Texture"section, just below
the texture name is a combobox labeled "Space:". Set it to "Local" and your
texture will be scaled together with the object.

Johannes.
