Greetings.
I am once again tromping through the tutorials, and am on the section
on Extending the IK chain. It mentions selecting part of a group and
ungrouping it, but I don't see an ungroup command or button.

Yes I know it may be right in front of me, but I don't see it. Here is
the part from the tutorial I am trying to accomplish:

"Select the Elbow and click on the Hand sub-object. Click on Ungroup.
It'll move somewhere, but for now ignore it."

Can someone point this out to me, this "Ungroup" button or selection?
I think it is just supposed to remove the item from the group.

Hi again :-)
Select the group
Modify tab> group parameters>children list
In that list select (Left click)
just under the list on the right :Ungroup button
Here we are :-D

The tutorial means click in children list!!! (in views, Hand highlights
blue)
