I am curious, povray does support lens flares? I noticed a lot of pov
images lately tend to add those silly lens effects. I can not tell if it is
a cheap photoshop hack job or something else sometimes.

Hmm.. so are these flare effects really adding to the 3d scene or are they a
post effect?
I did notice on the Chris Colefax page an animation of a lensflare where
part of the flares disappeared behind an object hehe, looked pretty weird.

POV-Ray does not support post effects.
