Have there ever been any changes to the image-files between the time they
become available via ftp and the time of the official announcement on the
irtc website?

If so, is a warning announcement posted to the irtc lists and the newsgroup?

How do the admins feel about "early" downloading of the images?

How do they feel about announcements in the groups regarding ftp
availability of the images?

And why is the sky blue?
