About the resurrection of IRTC...
I have a modest proposal (I apologize if it has already been made, because I
haven't read all the previous posts...):
that the winners have their images in the *Splash Page* of POV-Ray beta, which
will be obviously changed every two months...

I hope you're expressing optimism about the IRTC
timeline and not pessimism about the 3.7 one ;)

<undertone>
First, I must confess that I feel a great emotion to speak with you.
</undertone>
In general, the majority of the winners of past competitions used POV-Ray.
Disinterested suggestion: an *ad hoc* prize?
Or: the *splash page* for the first that has used POV-Ray for rendering?
This, perhaps, would be a *source of pride* for the winners.

Perbacco!
Sure! :-D
Watch web2.0 for example, is ALL in beta.
So, beta is a synonym for *work in progress*: and this is good news.
Beta is a hope!

One thing I am doing in the new IRTC site is to show all six winners of
each contest on the front page of the IRTC. This way, when you arrive
at the site, you get to see all the winners without clicking.

So, how are things going? When can we expect the first contest to start again?

Well, I said: let's have a try. :-)
Thanks for the time you're spending for IRTC.
