I've been informed that there's a problem with outgoing mail from the
IRTC site. This affects password resets and registrations. It will be
several hours before I can investigate this problem but I'll get to it
as quickly as I can.
Thanks

I used it yesterday to reset my old password, and it worked fine. I then
logged in and was able to submit an entry... but then RL got in the way. :(

Am I assuming correctly that the entries are purposely kept "invisible" until
the submission period has finished?
'Cause so far I cannot see your entry.

Submissions are only visible by the submitter and the administrator
until the contest is finished and open for voting. Otherwise, people
who submit their entries early run the risk of having their ideas stolen
by someone else.

Change
So how do change my username so that it is not my email address?

Oh! When I tried to login using my email as my user name I was not allowed to.

Hmm.. I see where that problem is. The password reset component doesn't
allow you to change your username or e-mail address. It's just for
password resets. You can change your username or password through
another component which isn't conveniently linked up to the user
interface. I'll fix that. In the meantime, e-mail me privately
(irt### [at] irtcorg) what you want your username to be and I'll make
the change.
