Hi,

just in case you're not also subscribed to irtc.stills, this is what has
  evolved over the last week:

As announced by Steven, to get voting etc. on tc-rtc.co.uk working "as
used to be", those technical changes are most likely to happen:

1) new topics are announced on the 17th of the respective month
2) uploads are possible from the beginning of the following month.
3) uploads end on the 17th instead of the 31st/30th
4) voting on a topic is possible from 18th to 31st/30th

In short, the length remains at four months, it's just shifted by
approx. two weeks. Uploading is possible at the earliest two weeks after
the topics announcement (not much of a problem, i'd say).

This most likely means that your "The Mother Hive" animation better be
ready by Dec. 17th instead of Dec. 31st...

"Dec. 17th? <whimper>" ;)

Hi, me again,

(cue: groaning from the audience) ;)

another question: from the descriptions and message exchange
over the last weeks, it seems the timeframes and intervals
for voting, uploading etc. are pretty much hard-coded into
the scripts driving the tc-rtc.co.uk. So are we going to
have a chance at "re-commenting/re-voting" on "Black Robe"
on the webpage at all, or is this simply not practical
because the scripts don't support time-shifting, and should
we talk about our opinions on the videos here on
irtc.animations instead and label "Black Robe" as
"Beta-testing" instead?

(in that case, could "someone" punch in 1/1/1 for my entry
so that i at least show up on the "ranking" page? "0/0/0"
seems to fall off the ledge somehow :)

Another idea: if, on Sept. 18th there is a "fake" stop time
entry of Sept. 17th retro-created for "Black Robe", would
this mean that voting/commenting would work again up to
Sept. 31st? Or would this mess up the whole
upload/topic/etc. system?

Markus-
I expressed how I felt in regards to your animation. I would put marks on
the board for you, but the tc-rtc web page will not give me access to the
voting page. I keep on checking.................Darin
