The rules page at http://www.irtc.org/anims/rules.html#anims now says:

The MPEG file must be less than 10mb (10,485,760 bytes) in size.

Ok, That's it.

I used to be able to download and view at least the six winner
animations of each round. Now it's just too big for my slow connection.
No more looking at IRTC animations for me... :(

That's what the IRTC CDs are for.

I know, but it's not quite the same, now is it?

"Ah, today the winners have been announced! Oh, so *that* animation won!
Exiting! I'll get to see it in a years time..."

Thanks for the implied offer, but don't worry about me. Hopefully I will
somewhat soon get broadband myself. But I know that many others will
still be stuck will slow expensive connections...

I live in Aarhus by the way.

Broadband rules!! It's also highly addictive but allows me to host my
own web server. Too bad that more than half of what the ISP's calls
broadband isn't (true broadband is 2 Mbps and above).

Nice city, but it's been quite a while since my last visit, at least
5-6 years.
