Due to Osama bin Laden's effect on the hours now being worked by US
military personnel, there will be no Rusty entry in this round of the
IRTC. I might finish the current project and post it on the Internet,
but it definitely won't be done by Monday.
Regards,
John

Too bad, but we of course understand your priorities.

Yet another reason to be saddened by the events of Sept. 11
I'll miss him. I always enjoy Rusty & friends. Maybe next round.

Perhaps it will find its way on future IRTC CDs, as a bonus.

I just looked at the animation page and I was very surprised not to see
Rusty. Perhaps with the lack of entries, when you finish the movie they
will let you place it as a late comer. They're not voting anyway, and I
don't know if I can see the animations without Rusty.

Where did you hear that?

And this means there will be a vote for the three best.

Partly due to work, partly due to chaning my idea about halfway through
the round, and partly due to a three-year-old who insists on playing
with Daddy when he gets home from work.

Right now I am test rendering (TC is saying "But we don't eat"), and I
hope to have it finished sometime. I have an idea that will take
very little modelling for the January 2002 round, so I will probably
have that one done on time.
I wouldn't ask to be let in; that's simply not fair.
