Do winners still receive a copy of the next CD-ROM or a registration to
MORAY anymore? Or is it all for glory and babes?
Just wondering.

But why bother? I'm not interesting.

Well, fortunately I'm married, so I think I got the babe part covered...
I just didn't want this contest to ruin my marriage by throwing copious
more babes my way anytime soon... just gimme a reg. to Moray, my
registered v2.02dos is getting worn- I want 2.5 for DOS now!
(bwahahaha!)

For my Goldfish (Creatures round) - a couple of years ago, my prizes were:
A. A subscription to either of Komodo Studio's online modeling magazines,
Mastering 3D Graphics or 3D Creature Workshop, courtesy of Bill
Fleming.
B. A T-shirt or mousepad print of your "movie poster" (or other image) from
Buckosoft.
Unfortunately I didn't hear from the mouse mat people - probably should have
sought them out and chased them for it, and the web-sites were oriented
towards other packages - not POV-Ray.
For the last round, my little Green Bugs didn't win me anything ;-( I
didn't even receive confirmation from the IRTC, perhaps problems with the
system at the time - I seem to recall some technical problems with the
Srever at the time. I'll just have to survive on the Kudos.
I don't suppose anyone enters the competition for a prize, I'd like to think
everyone does it at least in part to help support the community, but I must
admit, it does surprise me that you don't at least win a copy of the IRTC CD
Rom. Of course I had done a bit to support the community (by buying a
CD-Rom) then I wouldn't be wanting to win one, but I better not mention
that.

Hi Dearmad, you recently wrote in irtc.animations:

Well, our commitment still stands, but the admins haven't contacted us
with any of the winners' details for quite some time now. We sent out
a few some time ago. I assumed that none of the winners were
interested in a Moray registrations, either because they hand-code or
already have it.

- Lutz

I wonder, do second and third place recieve anything like
this? Dare I hope to place in the medal ring now? Dare I?
I would love to win v2.5 and let RIP my beloved v2.02... ;o)
Thanks for the info, Lutz! While I love to hand code and do
a lot of it, Moray makes a lot of tedious tasks very simple
and is exceedingly helpful to me in animating.
