To comment that is. I downloaded all the animations and looked at
them. There's one that I just think is really cool but I was wondering
if I should wait till the voting is over before commenting?

Judging should be done without bias, preconceived notions, or by
influence of popular opinion. My advice then would be to wait.

Yes, on one of the earliest rounds that I voted on, early on in the voting
someone gushed at an entry that I thought was done both poorly and in a style
I didn't like. It was hard to keep this from influencing my voting. For
the time being, irtc is stuck with fallible humans as voters........

OK, well in that case I'll keep my thoughts to myself. One thing that probably
wouldn't harm anyone would be to comment on what a huge turnout there was this
round. I think the total download was like 130megs!

I didn't know that the comments entered at the contest site could be
read before the voting period was over. Were you referring to comments
made there, or here, perhaps?

Comments made here. I just didn't want to have someone think that I
influenced the judging by saying that I liked one particular animation a
whole lot.
