I used to see that through a distant air broadcast when reception was good.
Liked the all 3D animations. I even checked out the various websites with
BeastWars content a while ago looking for the answer to what program(s)
created them. Never found an answer but appeared to be very Canadian-based.

Yes, we get in in Australia (well, we USED to). TEN were airing it a while
ago I think... It's pretty good. They have obviously put a lot of effort
into it. There is one thing however that I am extremely disappointed
with... THERE ARE NO SHADOWS!!! They obviously couldn't afford the
rendering overheads of shadow casting (although with their polygon system
and judging on the reflection mapping it is definately a scanline renderer
so shadow maps would have surficed). Oh well. Reboot was a good one as
well. It was very well done.

If you think Beast Wars is good, you should have seen "War Planets", which I
guess "went down the drain."

Reboot and Beast wars were all done by the same group, called "Mainframe" In the
first and second seasons, Reboot was awful... Like shiny things (Bob's hair) would
reflect blue sky even when he was indoors at night. It was obvious that they animated
everything separately and matted in the backgrounds later.
The third season was a lot better though.
