Taking a hint from Maetes, here is a WIP to push myself forward.
I'm debating whether or not I should make the wine lighter in color.
(I'm also having the same debate with Riesling and Sauvignon blanc.)
No meniscus yet. It was easy for the coffee mug, because the side of
the mug is always vertical, but wineglasses have curved sides.

Wow - those are looking GREAT.
I think you adequately fake the meniscus just by using the height of the
meniscus for a vertical side and just shifting it in in a bit.
I juts got back from a pretty great dinner with cocktails, and you've still got
me eyeing up my bottle of Riesling. :)

The colour is OK. Nice middle ground for normal and sparkling white
wines. Just some slight variation of the fade distance and tint should
do the trick.

Whow, simply whow.
It that's a preliminary result, I don't want to kno how the finished product
will look like.
I really need to get more into textures, my own stuff looks absolutely
comic-like.
You and Ton are right, we should share more of our work, so the others have
something to see. And maybe to learn, or even to participate?

These look great, for me the bubbles while looking good are probably a bit
larger than I would expect them to be but as it is a WIP maybe something you are
going to tweak
