It's a nice start! I was recently in Japan and ventured up to Takayama, which
has a village full of houses from different ages that I have been thinking about
modeling as well.

nice, the hard work is done. I think re-positioning the camera (a little
off-centre), and "fiddling" a bit with the lighting (the image is quite dark),
should come next.
