I feel the same. A lot of projects seem to be happy to go to a black hole rather than
maintain a searchable presence. While it's probably fair to say that it takes a lot
more work to set up and maintain your own forums than it does to just get free hosting
from discord. But even that bar is being overtaken (slowly) as places like GitHub
improve their discussions experience.
TL;DR I believe strongly in keeping support-related conversations available for future
users to find, rather than discover DenverCoder9 moved to Discord.
