My dad taught me POV-Ray when I was 7 years old, in 2000. Started using it
heavily between 2003-2007. I still use it occasionally but I confess the
"B-thing" has largely replaced it for me in practice. The last significant
POV-Ray work I did was probably around 2015

(I tried Blender back in 2005 or 2006 and it SUCKED. I retreated to POV-Ray as
my refuge! How the tables have turned now ...)
