There are a lot of these sites, and that is an old one - I've visited it many
times!
Also check out the Geometry Junkyard.

I've long thought that POV-Ray ought to, as a raytracer, have an extensive
library of SHAPES.

We have some inbuilt functions that are curiosities - but we ought to have stuff
that we can expand on and build things with.
Implicit, procedural patterns.
Algorithms.
Regular arrangements / spacings in and on other shapes.
Methods for covering surfaces with (addressable) tilings.

That sort of thing.
