I've made several changes and the whole thing is now a two-step process: create
a db, and run it.

see 'wtlimit'.  :-)

the archive contains a 'readme.txt' detailing the few edits needed to "install"
the code.  and I meant to mention in the 'readme' - the work directory must not
exist, ie must be deleted between successive runs.
