I have begun work on a low detail version of the pov model.
The idea is to make models that are just enough 3D so that light and shade can
be
studied, ie fixing composition and lights before doing any detailed modelling.

What is fixed in terms of objects:
-the rustic building to the left is my pet project (the btm story is not
correct,
 its an adapted component)
the real thing will be made up of library components and I have not thought it
 through yet
-the flat white and black building with the 3 vaults is a nice contrast I think
-that the foreground should contain various architectural elements
-that there should be some kind of park like part with trees and bushes
-that there should be some kind of tower to make the scene/composition more
interesting
-that there is a some kind of brick building under construction, for texture
contrast
-a proper realistic scale of all architecture and also good proportions

The out of place minaret is only a place holder for the real tower, I need to
see
how the light works. Its the same with the crappy model of the domed church.
(It is a very old model from when men were men and computers had 32 mb of
ram...)

I think it could work with the light comming from this direction, but I am open
to
suggestions.

Besides, any real pov programmer has a soft spot for crappy WIP renders... :P
