I'm fishing for ideas about writing a macro to create cobblestone patterns like
the one in the following picture:

perhaps with mathematical variations.

The color of a stone might be determined based on radial distance and angle, and
the pattern could be sub-divided into rings, with each ring using a different
pattern...

Any thoughts?
