For those out there using the monkeyjam app to assemble animations and encode
them as MPEGs (as I do), there are some problems worth mentioning that I've
lately come across.

I really like monkeyjam's ease of use and simplicity, but certain MPEG video
codecs (especially xvid) cause some problems with the app: duplicated frames
every now and then in the final animation. The problem seems to lie within
monkeyjam itself. I came up with a workaround, using the VirtualDub app.
Rather than rehash the details here, take a look at my recent animation post
and the comments there...

I'm curious to know if anyone else has run into similar monkeyjam problems.

Ken W.
