No, the thing I plan to implement is only geared at objects more or less
perfectly "touching" each other, i.e. cases where a ray leaves one object to
enter another one. Simply speaking, the idea is to handle "currently inside"
objects different from "currently outside" objects.
Cases where multiple intersecting objects would be competing for the "next
object" would be beyond the scope of that implementation.
