What's silly is jumping off at Long Wharf in Boston.  I suggest:

19. At Hopkinton, take I-495 south to Rte 25.
20. Take Rte 25 to the Bourne Bridge. Cross the bridge.
21. Take Rte 6A east to Rte 6.
22. Take Rte 6 east to P'town.
23. Swim across the Atlantic Ocean.
....

Less water pollution, and you catch less of the freezing Labrador Current.
