That is a great technique, thanks for sharing. I've been playing around with
it, and I find that soft light gives better results than multiply in Paint
Shop Pro if there are a lot of black lines in the original picture. You can
even duplicate the Edge-detected layer and set the lower one to soft light
and the top layer to multiply, which gives some fairly amazing results,
IMO.
