Ah! The “Never let a CPU tick go unused” syndrome :-) I know about cloth
simulation, in Poser and you can never have a fast enough computer.
Unfortunately hair is a bit of a problem getting it into Pov-Ray so I use
short unmovable cuts.
I don’t know Macs so I can’t comment but it gets good reviews.
It is a shame (I think) that you can’t run Pov-Ray but other than haunting
these newsgroups do you really need it?
