and it wouldnt be harder to code since it already works this way. if you
look very close (your eyes get bad from the codec ;) you can see the fans
starting quite fast and when stopping, spinning slower and slower. code is
here http://70mb.30mb.de/pov.

i calculate all frames in one 'render' and write it to a file.
by the way, it's an homage on the deplacements installation
http://decept.org/nolife, and the light is switching imidiate there..

i had a lot of special effects in mind but (almost) sticked to the original.
i couldnt actually find their specific ruleset for the automata (it's a
tweaked game of life) so i added different colors for compensation :=)
