Hi,
ever tried to find an exact position for an object on another one like trees
on a ground?
Sometimes I needed hundreds of trials and errors together with several
camera position changes to find a satisfying solution. And I hated this
waste of time.

I wrote a little helper for this problem. It uses the wanted position in the
final image like 20 % from left and 50 % fom top.
Then it calculates the value the object has to be tranlated together with
the rotations to align the object with the surface normal.
These values are shown as text in the image and in the message window.

The code isn't really perfect, but good enough to be helpful.

I post the source in povray.binaries.scene-files.
