About the fix ripples at the water/air interface, it's a problem that happen
when the speed is low. I think it's a problem with the pressure computation
that is not precise enough (it's the pressure computation that should make
the ripples propagates and deseppear).

It is not bubbles at the bottom of the object. In fact, there is always a
gap between the water surface and the object (smaller than a grid size).
This gap is fluctuating from one iteration to an other. It results in these
"bubble effect". For this kind of object shape, one solution is to
increase the object size during the rendering in order to ensure the
contact between the object and the water. I will try that in the next
rendering.

The simulations tooks around 12 hours.

The rendering time was around 30 min per frame. Frame rate is 25 frames per
second. This post has 76 frames.

I use a P4 3.2 GHz with 1 Go of RAM.
