To me the amount of crosslink is what will make or break the
usefulness of the site. It won't matter what the garbage-to-content
ratio is as long as people take the time to link it all together well,
with explanations of what they're linking to.

As it surely will, but even the most brief development of an idea
or common purpose will save a lot of wasted effort.

I don't think anyone here is looking for a 'conclusive document,' just
a bit of vision. The newsgroup is a great place for everyone to get
ideas out interactively.

Obviously after the Wiki gets rolling the newsgroups will become
redundant, but I hate to see it abandoned as a useful discussion
for initial setup and ideas.
