Pardon my intrusion on a non-technical matter.  You have an opportunity to
add a degree of historical significance to your work, a significance which
might outlive us all!  I bet you haven't heard of the Ezekiel Project
before (www.ezekielproject.org).  Well you have now.

We are not an obscure cult.  We're a group of obscure humanitarians and
engineers. :-)

The Ezekiel Project is an ambitious desalination project designed to be
situated on the Dead Sea.  There is no funding at all, just an old do-gooder
in the US, and me here in arid Australia.  I have dabbled about 10 hours in
POV Ray myself but don't have sufficient skill to produce anything useful.
I am 38 and my vector calculus days are 15 years behind me.

I am writing in the hope that you or another member might get excited about
helping with an animation for our site.  It should be suitable for a 30
second evening news bulletin.


Your map of the area is an ideal starting point for such a scene.

There should be enough information on the www.ezekielproject.org website to
start something.  It doesn't have to be accurate or detailed, just
relatively complete from start to finish.

If you are at all excited or interested, let me know.  I will help with any
question you might have.
