Well, mis-diagnosis is part of the problem, sure! I'm modelling from a
real-world object, and my initial description was based on my initial
(admittedly incorrect) study of the object. I didn't realize until last
night that the surface I needed was cylindrical rather than conic.
Still, I've received lots of good info about isosurfaces, so it works out
for me either way!
