Or that the name of the file is "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\nsmailVR.jpeg" which some
newsreaders, particularly on backward systems that use the wrong directory
separator, might not see as a legitimate filename.

Eitan, it looks like the light from the red and blue tubes is mixing with
the light from the green tube to make white.  Have you tried putting opaque
boxes between the three tubes to see if that's the case?
